Mr. Kemps joined BlueSkye in 2014 and brings nearly 30 years of investment experience to the firm. Prior to joining, he was an investment adviser and branch manager for Meyers Associates, L.P., International Assets Advisory, Anderson & Strudwick and Jessup & Lamont Securities Corp.
As Executive Vice President, Mr. Kemps serves as a member of the Investment Strategy Committee that supports the firm by determining short and long term asset allocation exposures across the discretionary models available to clients of BlueSkye. In addition, he has responsibility to identify and perform due diligence on outside money managers and alternative investments available to accredited investors of the firm. Mr. Kemps also provides support for algorithm construction, implementation and optimization for the automated trading strategies available to clients of BlueSkye.
Currently, Mr. Kemps is a registered Commodities Trading Adviser (CTA) and operates a discretionary fund of managed futures for qualified investors through his outside investment firm, Spectrum Capital Management*. Additionally, Mr. Kemps is a registered principal for Great Point Capital, LLC* and serves as an Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction for advisers that are also registered representatives of Great Point.
Mr. Kemps lives with his wife in Satellite Beach, FL where he is active member of his community, serving as a volunteer for The Haven for Children. He can often be found at the local yacht club and enjoys tennis, and sailing.
